PRACTICAL GUIDE · 3 MIN READ
Start with the operating business
A useful banking profile explains what the company sells, how it earns and who it trades with. The description should reflect actual operations rather than repeat a broad licence category.
Connect the documents
Ownership records, commercial evidence and funding information should support the same explanation. A well-organised file makes it easier to identify a missing link before an application is submitted.
Describe the expected flows
Explain where payments come from and go to, in which currencies, and at what typical size and frequency. If activity is seasonal or includes unusual milestones, make that clear.
Keep the picture current
A profile is not a one-off document. New markets, changes in ownership or a different trade cycle may require an update. Clear preparation supports a bank review; it does not guarantee approval.
